An outstanding bird’s-eye view of Borobudur courtesy of @ilza_agung! The majestic temple of Borobudur has been standing strong since the 9th century. Located in the south of Magelang city, Central Java, the massive structure covers a total surface area of around 2,500 m2, composed of intricate 2,672 relief panels and originally 504 Buddha statues. Borobudur Temple remains one of Indonesia’s most treasured landmarks. Any other huge monuments in Indonesia you have visited?
